About this piece

A black bowl with a comfortable handle on the side. Hand made from terracotta and high baked the traditional way underground to give it the black colour, then rubbed with a semi-precious stone to add shine.

Care

Proof before first use by filling 3/4 full and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 200 degrees or gas mark 6. Wooden cooking utensils are recommended rather than metal ones. They can be cleaned with a sponge and washing up liquid or in a dishwasher. Make sure it's thoroughly dry before storing.
