Ceramic tea cup with a tea strainer and lid all glazed with a tawny glaze. These sweet little cups are super easy to use, simply put your loose leaf tea into the strainer section. Add hot water up to the line in the strainer and let brew according to the tea instructions. When done, lift the strainer out and rest it on the upturned lid so it doesn't drip onto the side and then enjoy your lovely cuppa! Handmade in small batches, these are crafted from an Artisan pottery in Southern India, created under a Fair Trade scheme to help sustain and grow the community of artisan makers. 

The glaze is hand dipped so the finish will vary from piece to piece. This glaze is a reactive glaze, depending on where the item is placed in the kiln the colour will vary from a light speckled finish to a mottled brown.
